The Board of Trustees is made up of 7 members, one of whom is a representative from City Council. Trustees are appointed by City Council, upon recommendation of the Board.

These Trustees are guardians of a public trust to ensure that the library provides relevant, comprehensive and efficient service to the community the library serves.
Trustees represent the community and set strategic directions and policies on behalf of the community.
Trustees are advocates for the library through:
- Lobbying
- Marketing
- Public relations
- Promotions

The Kimberley Library Board of Trustees meets regularly at least 6 times per year. Community delegations are welcome to attend, please make prior arrangements by emailing kplboard@kimberleylibrary.ca.
