Active Aging Workshop for Spring

Shenoa Runge from Ascend Movement will host a FREE Active Aging Workshop for anyone wanting to learn more about aging dynamically and getting ready for spring and summer activity and movement.

Kimberley Public Library & Healthy Kimberley are partnering to offer this interactive workshop to support active aging.

Topics include:

  • Maintaining and enhancing mobility, balance, agility, strength, bone, tissue, and joint health;
  • Enhancing and strategically integrating better movement in everyday life;
  • Moves for feeling more confident getting up and down from the ground.

All participants will receive video-based and printed resources to support their learning and integrating more movement in their daily lives.

This program is drop in and free of charge. It will take place in the upstairs library reading room which has elevator access from the main library area if the stairs are a challenge for you. Everyone is welcome, especially seniors.
