How to Donate
- Money Donations
- Online: You can donate securely online through CanadaHelps to the Friends of the Library, who raise funds for us. Donations of $10.00 or more will get a charitable receipt.
- In-Person: Drop by the library during our open hours to make a cash or cheque donation. Our friendly staff will be happy to help.
- Mail: Send a cheque made out to “Kimberley Public Library” to: 115 Spokane St, Kimberley, BC V1A 2E5.
- E-Transfer: You can also donate via e-transfer to director@kimberleylibrary.ca Donations will be automatically deposited.
If you want a tax receipt, make sure to let us know. Include all necessary information on the cheque, e-transfer or email it separately to the same address.
- Planned Giving
- Think about including the Kimberley Public Library in your will or estate planning. These gifts can provide lasting support for the library and its programs. For more details, please contact us directly.
- Corporate Sponsorships
- Businesses and organizations can support the library through sponsorships and partnerships. This can include sponsoring events, programs, or specific library needs. Please reach out to us to discuss potential opportunities.
- Donating Materials
- While we can’t accept direct donations of books, DVDs, CDs, or audiobooks, you can donate these items to the Friends of the Library Used Book Store at 196 Spokane Street. Profits from the bookstore benefit the library and the community. If you have a special book you’d like considered for our collection, please mark it for special consideration when you drop it off at the bookstore, and they will contact the Library Director.
