Library Services for Schools & Daycares:
Kimberley Public Library is pleased to offer the following services to schools and daycares in Kimberley and outlying areas.

★ Connect with KPL for a tour of the library, tailor made for educational groups.
October – May: Tuesday & Friday.
June: Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday.
Students explore and learn about their local library and obtain a FREE library card.
Tours typically take 30-60 mins and include a library tour, story and/or a library related activity.
Other Services:
★ Ready to Collect Book Bundles for Teachers and Educators
No searching or waiting for holds – we can create a bundle of awesome resources for your
classroom and email you when they are ready to pick up. It’s easy!
(A Kimberley Library card is required to use this service – visit the library with proof of residence and we can set you up -also easy!)
★ Dyslexic and Reluctant Reader Books
KPL has a selection of super-readable, accessible books that have been created by the
publishers Barrington Stoke and Orca Books who specialize in providing a range of reading
materials for readers facing literacy issues. Contact us for more information.
★ Buddy Reading Programs
Collaborate with other local schools or daycares, to offer a unique and interesting buddy
reading program for your students at the library. Reading programs may be tailor made to a
theme, season, reading level or special interest.
★ Junior, Tween and Young Adult Book Club Sets – minimum 3 weeks notice required.
Book sets are curated by our knowledgeable library team and may be tailor made to appeal to
your students. Book Clubs can help students engage with and enjoy books through a shared
reading experience and enjoyable discussion.

For tours, we aim to arrange your visit based on your preferences, but due to staff scheduling we cannot guarantee your first choice.
